Philosophy

Our dogs are family. They live closely with us, accompany us side by side through the waves of life. Breeding or non-breeding, it makes no difference. All are little personalities who have their place deep in our hearts and are allowed to live out their dog life to the fullest.

Nevertheless, we have very special requirements for our breeding dogs.

There is a long way to go before a dog is bred. A nice way, because we experience how the little clumsy puppy becomes a beautiful, magnificent dog. They grow up with hope and love and are always looked at with a neutral gaze. Will the great hope really become a breeding dog?

Before every veterinary examination that involves breeding suitability, we sleep restlessly and feverishly await the results. These are exhausting days in the life of a breeder, but then you hold the result in your hands and often the corks pop with joy or all hopes and dreams are shattered in a matter of seconds.

But it is better to know than to believe and hope blindly. Breeding means selection. From an ethical and animal welfare point of view alone, it is important to look to learn more about genetics and avoid suffering.

It is our aim to release healthy life into the world, to make the puppy buyers happy with their new family member every day.

This includes optimal care of the mother dog during pregnancy, accompanying the birth and a permanent watchful eye on mother and puppies during growth up to the good socialization of the puppies. To ensure this, the little ones grow up in close proximity to us. Everyday noises, contact with other dogs and a cat, romping around outdoors as well as indoors are normal and lay important building blocks for the future.

We also take a lot of time to choose the right people for our puppies and have long conversations, written contact and visits, ... an important time to get to know each other.

Because letting go of a puppy after weeks of intensive time together is always difficult, because a part of the heart goes with every dog.

Our mission statement is

the health of the Silken Windsprite, which is reflected in the diversity of this young breed and in the knowledge of the health of the breeding dogs, ... whereby respect, gratitude and love for these magical creatures with all their needs is the basis.
